At Los Ositos Morenos Childcare, we are proud to offer a nurturing, enriching, and family-centered environment where your child can thrive.
Our teaching team brings a diverse range of experience from just starting out in the field to 12 years of working with families! This mix of seasoned expertise and fresh perspectives allows us to blend proven methods with a willingness to grow and adapt. With strong foundations in Reggio Emilia and play-based learning, our educators create a dynamic environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration.

We offer a Spanish Immersion Program, introducing a second language during the early years when children are most receptive. Through thoughtful, hands-on activities, we promote critical thinking, reasoning, and questioning—laying a strong foundation for future academic and social success.
With a structured daily schedule that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond, we ensure each child receives the guidance and support they need to grow with confidence.

Our Mission
At Los Ositos Morenos Childcare we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment where children thrive as curious, capable learners. Guided by the principles of Reggio Emilia and play-based education, we empower children to explore their interests, express their ideas, and collaborate with others. Through meaningful experiences that honor each child's unique strengths and perspectives, we foster a lifelong love of learning and a strong foundation for future success. Our First Location:
Metzger Neighborhood
Los Ositos Morenos Childcare first opened its doors in October 2023 proudly serving families in the Metzger neighborhood. Although we have closed this location to better accommodate our thriving Bull Mountain site and to create a work/life balance for Abby and Carlos, we are incredibly grateful for the families who trusted us from the very beginning. Our Metzger location laid the foundation for wonderful connections, and it has been a beautiful start to our journey. Thank you for being part of our story as we continue to and nurture special children and families at Bull Mountain.

Our Bull Mountain location has been proudly serving families since July 2025. Located in the heart of the Bull Mountain neighborhood, we’re proud to be a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day.
At Los Ositos Morenos Childcare, we continue to provide high-quality, compassionate care rooted in play-based and Reggio Emilia-inspired learning. Our dedicated educators create a rich, engaging environment where children can explore, discover, and grow with confidence.
We’re grateful for the families who have become part of our community here at LOMC and look forward to many more joyful days of learning, friendship, and growth together.
